The 23 years in the cask ahead of bottling has delivered an incredible tasting dram after the final two years finishing in French Calvados casks.
Nose: Very subtle coastal aromas, some sweet orchard fruits, pear drops, toffee apples, Barley sugar, Sweet and succulent dates, some fresh cut pine.
Palate: A rich opening to the front of the palate with rich orchard fruits like apples sweet pears, some light spices and hints of runny honey, a little waxiness, soft cereal and toasted nuts, soft oak spice, some chocolate and dried fruits.
