Michter’s is known for its bold, powerful expressions, and this 2024 bottling from the Bomberger’s Declaration sub-brand is right up there among the most exciting. This expression was aged in Chinquapin oak, said to impart a sweet nuttiness to the bourbon. Just 1996 bottles have been released, packed with maple syrup, dried dark fruit and dark chocolate notes. Bomberger’s takes its name from the former distillery that was in production during the 1800s.
