Ben Nevis 10 Year Old Pre-2016
Nose: What a great nose, with fruity and honey notes from the start, old parchment paper and soft waxy notes, old leather bound books and a hint of peach and apple, some light sweet undertones of smoke and apricots.
Palate: Rich and tangy with some citrus and cracked black pepper building across the palate, mineral and heather, some sweet stone fruits, a little oily and waxy, with candied orange and cocoa, some soft baked fruit cakes and mellow strawberry at times.
A very interesting dram indeed.
