Nose: Sweet and spicy aromas on the nose, cinnamon sticks and hints of toasted waffles, a little ginger and almonds, some sweet citrus tangy notes, winter fruit cake and some dried orange peel.
Palate: A creamy start with sweet orchard fruits and pressed ginger, some soft liquorice root notes add a delicious contrast to the mid palate, ground cashews are definitely here adding to a rich mid palate, the sherry cask has added so much to this dram its balanced and rich right to the end.
