This seventh bottling of Notable Age Statements from Decadent Drinks is a beautiful 50 year-old 1972 single cask of Bas Armagnac from Chateau De Gaube. This is the last of the casks Decadent Drinks has in Grosperrin's cellars and is something quite exceptional. Bottled at natural cask strength.
Nose: Dried figs soaked in honey, raisins, dates and warm apple pie.
Palate: Christmas cake in a bottle. Sultanas, raisins, maraschino cherries with lashings of manuka honey.
Finish: dates and fresh figs finish.
