A much-anticipated release from renowned distillery Ardnamurchan. The blending team has woven together fully-matured peated and unpeated sherried whiskies including first-fill Pedro Ximénez and oloroso hogsheads, butts and octave casks. This is a rich, powerful and luscious expression bursting with character.
Tasting note:
Nose: Commanding with dark chocolate, hazelnut, Christmas pudding and gentle bonfire smoke all coming through.
Palate: The sherry character turns a little meatier and darker, with liquorice, sausages and raisins all arriving.
Finish: Long with gently warming spices.
