The new release from Ardnamurchan distillery was matured in first fill sherry butt, bottled at 59.4% 

This is a new distillate so expect some rather nice twists and turns should you open the bottle.

Nose:  Vibrant with some tangy fruity tones, hints of dark chocolate with dates and a little sweet pepper notes, the richness of the sherry cask shines through 

Palate: The sherry cask has done its work with bold red fruits and hints of blackberry and damson jam, spiced fruit cake and a hint of creamed strawberries, a touch of pink pepper, a slight polished leather note, toffee and shortbread.
