Ardmore 12 Years Old 60.7% Vol Refill sherry barrique produced only 196 bottles at a cask strength

Producers Notes

Characterful peated Highland single malt for you here, with a great balance of sweet, savoury and smoky flavours.

Nose: The nose has honey-roast ham, tobacco, hazelnut nougat, bitter chocolate, and a phenolic coal tar background

Palate: Is quite peaty at first, with a thick mouthfeel, then develops on toast with honey and salted butter, smoked rye, dark chocolate and orange, and liquorice root. Lots going on here, with the sherry adding just enough sweetness and richness to round things off nicely.
