Ardbeg An Oa 46.6% Vol - 70cl Islay Single Malt
Nose: Smoked toffee and charred wood, peach and tangy notes of crushed pepper and fennel, sweet and tangy lime citrus, waxed parchment paper, cut apples and Caramelised banana, some soft coastal fruity notes, herbal and creamy at the same time.
Palate: A nice contrast on the front of the palate with a creamy sweet note, chocolate and tobacco leaf, some sweet spices of nutmeg and cinnamon, candied orange peel, melon and hints of toffee and roasted root vegetables, some sweet nutty flavours sit rather nicely with orange blossom and soft mint, with a rather nicely balanced long finish of smoked toffee and salted caramel.
