Ardbeg 25 Year Old 46% Vol. Vintage Islay Single Malt 

Ardbeg have selected some exception and rare casks for this great vintage single malt.

Nose: Some rich and complex aromas of smoke with a hint of charred oak and dried spice, some smoked meats with a hint of tangy citrus with a hint of vanilla, waxiness with hints of parchment and tropical fruits. A really nicely integrated aroma on the nose from this vintage.  

Palate: Lots of flavours hit the front of the palate, from a sweet and building citrus, to a nice contrasting pepper note, candied banana and Seville orange peel, with a hint of dark toffee and cookies, some spices interplay with dark fruits and aniseed, as we head into a rich and creamy finish that adds a superb contrast to the mid palate, with whipped toffee and creamy truffle notes, with a little hint of soft smoke to help this superb vintage linger across the finish.
