Apple Sponge is here! A spin-off from the successful Whisky Sponge independent bottling line, this is a celebration of all things calvados – although the team has hinted it may be a one-off. Whatever happens, we’re glad this expression exists. It’s a delicious multi-vintage blend of two casks of Calvados Pays d’Auge from Christian Drouin. A 50-50 split of 1988 and 1991 spirits, they were married together and bottled with a 32-year age statement. Presented in hand-blown Cognac glass, just 120 bottles have been released.
