Aberfeldy 16 Year Old - Matured in Fresh and Re-fill bourbon casks before being finish for six months in fresh fill Oloroso sherry casks
Nose: With an abundance of sherry cask notes of raisins, fruit cake and soft spices like cinnamon, caramel and slow cooked apple, chocolate coated cereal bars, dark honey and a soft malt loaf note.
Palate: Delightfully smooth and fruity with a great creamy note on the front of the palate, some candied orange peel, milk chocolate truffles, dates and damson jam, root ginger and a touch of vanilla pod, more sweet citrus like mandarin, soft toffee and sweet spices.
