Nase: Eine sehr interessante Nase mit reichhaltigen getrockneten Feigen, einigen würzigen Zitrusaromen, Rauch und süßem Torf, Orange und Toffee, tropischen Früchten, geräuchertem Fleisch, etwas Vanille und Datteln. Dieser Tropfen ist außergewöhnlich in der Nase, wir können nur vermuten, wie der Gaumen sein wird, wenn er so gut ist. 
Gaumen: Am Gaumen entdecken wir mehr von den reichhaltigen Früchten in der Nase, mit geschlagenem Toffee und Fudge, etwas dunkler Schokolade und Salz, einem Hauch von rotem Apfel und Gewürzen, Ananasstücken und Salzwasser-Toffee, geräucherten Küstenfrüchten und Eintopfballen, gehacktem Holz, Anklänge von Leder und Zwetschgenmarmelade.  
Ein schöner, reichhaltiger und komplexer Caol Ila mit einer ausgewogenen Mischung aus Sherryfässern und dem luxuriös reichen Stil von Islay
