Nase: Der köstliche salzige, rauchige/torfige Duft kommt im Glas zusammen mit einer ausgewogenen weinigen Süße aus dem Fass zum Vorschein, die Aromen nehmen einfach weiter zu, etwas gesalzene dunkle Schokolade und dunkle Früchte sind in der Nase reichlich vorhanden. 
Gaumen: Der Torf am Gaumen wird mit süßen geräucherten Früchten ausbalanciert. Das Fass fügt eine ganze Geschmacksebene hinzu, wenn die Süße des Weinfasses zum Vorschein kommt. Ein subtiler Torf ersetzt die eher nach vorne gerichteten Noten aus der Öffnung des Gaumens, dunkle Früchte und etwas Gewürze Feigen und Zwetschgen verleihen dem reichhaltigen und genussvollen Abgang eine süße Weinnote.
