Nase: Süße und trockene Gewürze mit einem Hauch von gesalzenem Karamell, rosa Pfeffer mit Erdbeeren, Sirup-Toffee, etwas weiches Eichenholz und ein Hauch von Treibholz, etwas Rauch, abgebrannte Streichhölzer, die sich perfekt durch die Aromen ziehen.
Gaumen: Einige reiche Früchte und klassische Islay-Noten auf der Vorderseite des Gaumens, süßer Rauch, geröstete Kastanien und Walnüsse, gesalzenes Karamell und dunkler Honig, etwas Milchschokolade und Sultaninen.
Mit etwas Wasser kommt mehr von der trockenen Islay-Note durch, wenn man es ohne Wasser öffnet, entwickelt sich ein weicherer Ton, das ist ein schöner Islay zum Entspannen.
