Single Pot Still Style

Green Spot is crafted in the traditional Irish single pot still style, a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills. This style, unique to Ireland, imparts a creamy mouthfeel and distinctive spicy character.

The modern Green Spot is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, with some special editions featuring secondary maturation in wine casks from producers such as Château Léoville Barton (Bordeaux) or Château Montelena (California).
