Casa Noble is a premium tequila brand celebrated for its commitment to organic production, traditional craftsmanship, and refined flavour. Based in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Casa Noble produces small-batch tequilas exclusively from 100% Blue Weber agave, grown without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. Founded over 20 years ago by tequila master José “Pepe” Hermosillo, the brand has built a global reputation for marrying heritage methods with modern quality control, resulting in tequilas of exceptional purity and balance.

The highland terroir plays a central role in Casa Noble’s style. The estate’s agave plants grow in mineral-rich volcanic soil at elevations around 1,500 metres, where cooler nights help the plants develop more complex sugars and aromatic compounds. Agave is allowed to mature fully, often taking up to 14 years, before being harvested by hand. This extended growth period ensures optimal sweetness and depth of flavour in the final spirit.

Production follows a meticulous, triple-distillation process — rare in tequila making — which refines the spirit while retaining the agave’s natural character. Cooking takes place in traditional stone ovens, slowly baking the piñas to develop caramelised, honeyed flavours. After crushing, the juice is fermented with natural yeasts before being distilled in copper pot stills for maximum flavour clarity.

The use of French oak barrels, rather than the more common American oak, is a hallmark of Casa Noble’s style. These casks, often used previously in fine wine production, impart subtle tannins, rounded spice, and a refined texture to the spirit without overpowering the agave.

Flavour-wise, Casa Noble tequilas are known for their balance of sweet agave, delicate spice, and silky mouthfeel. The Blanco is vibrant and zesty, ideal for sipping neat or elevating cocktails like the Margarita or Paloma. The Reposado offers a perfect middle ground, with enough oak to add depth while retaining freshness. The Añejo and Extra Añejo are luxurious sipping tequilas, meant to be enjoyed slowly to appreciate their complexity.
