Everyone loves a competition. And we love hosting them here at Milroy’s! Earlier this summer we teamed up with some of the most exciting names in drinks (and driving – just not together) to offer you the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes. The contests have closed, the names have been pulled out of the hat*, and we’re ready to announce our winners!
Milroy’s classic car driving day
First up, we partnered with our friends at Super Stars to offer a classic car enthusiast and their guest the chance to take to the stunning Cotswolds lanes behind the wheel of six different classic cars. We even threw in a gourmet lunch at The Lygon Arms by James Martin, too!
All you had to do to enter was pick up a bottle from our very own Soho Selection and Vintage Reserve collections. And the lucky winner is... William Bailey from North Wiltshire! Congratulations!
Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Voyage
The next competition to kick off was with the Wild Turkey team. They’d got their hands on possibly the only bottle of Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Voyage in the UK. And they wanted to give it away to one lucky Milroy’s customer!
Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Voyage represents the meeting of two minds. Dr. Joy Spence, Appleton Estate master blender, worked with Eddie Russell, Wild Turkey master distiller, to source some casks for finishing. She sent some barrels that previously held 14-year-old pot still rum to Kentucky – and he filled them with his 10-year-old bourbon! What a partnership. To be in with a chance of winning it? Simply buy a bottle of Wild Turkey and your name would be in the draw.
The winner of this incredible bottle? Steve Moate from Essex! What a whiskey to add to the collection.
Appleton Estate Instagram competition
Speaking of Appleton Estate, we also turned our attention to rum. Anyone who followed us, Appleton Estate, liked our snap and tagged a fellow rum lover was in the running to win a bottle of the gorgeously complex 21 Year Old Appleton Estate. Two runners up would be sent a trio gift pack.
Congratulations to Biplob Kamrujjaman from Oxford who scooped the bottle, and Oxford’s Judy Park and Ronnie Roberts from West Sussex who win the gift packs!
For everyone else who missed out – fear not! We’ll be back with more competitions soon. Keep your eye on our Instagram profile for the latest!
*ok, an online randomiser. But a hat is more fun.
