A rich and multifaceted whisky aged primarily in ex-bourbon casks before a long finish in Ex Madeira casks
Nose: A complex rich and inviting nose of soft creamy vanilla and coconut, fresh churned with a rich toffee note, some citrus edges and a little dried apricot, candied orange, and subtle lime.
Palate: On the front of the palate comes honey and creamy toffee, sweet roasted cashew nuts, Apples and sweet pears, some dark fruits add in a little spice.
The finish is superb with citrus and honey, marmalade, and sweet oak cakes.
