Eine köstliche Sherry-lastige Veröffentlichung des Speyside-Produzenten Tomintoul. „Seiridh“ bedeutet auf Schottisch-Gälisch wörtlich „Sherry“, und dieser Whisky wurde in erstbefüllten Oloroso-Fässern nachgereift, nachdem er wie in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern gereift war.
Verkostungsnotiz:
Nase: Unter den roten Früchten finden sich dunklere Toffee-, Rosinen- und Kaffeenoten, abgerundet durch eine Portion helles Getreide.
Geschmack: Pekannuss, Toffee und Nelke entwickeln sich zu Zimt, Mandel und Pekannuss – im Wesentlichen wie ein Weihnachtskuchen.
Abgang: Mittellang und vollmundig, mit mehr trocknendem Kaffee.
