Tomintoul ist ein sehr beliebter Single Malt Scotch Whisky aus Speyside und gilt als sanfter Trinker. Dieser Ausdruck reifte 10 Jahre lang in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern und ist ein absoluter Genuss. Die Brennerei wurde bereits in den 1960er Jahren erbaut und nach einem nahegelegenen gleichnamigen Dorf benannt.
Verkostungsnotiz:
Nase: Wunderbar ausgewogene malzige, grüne Noten. Vanille und Karamell kommen durch, zusammen mit Obstgartenfrüchten und einer Prise Kokosnuss.
Geschmack: Mittelkräftig und weich, honigsüßes Getreide springt aus dem Verkostungsglas hervor, begleitet von mehr Malz, Milchschokolade und Marmelade auf Toast.
Abgang: Mittellang mit etwas süßer Würze.
