Tamnavulin 14 Year Old 2010 Little Brown Dog 52.4% 70cl
A gorgeous Tamnavulin bottling here from independent bottler Little Brown Dog – and it’s pink! The team took 2010-distilled single malt from the Speyside distillery that had been ageing in two first-fill bourbon barrels, and transferred it into a ruby Port pipe for a six-month finish. The results are astoundingly fruity, with a pleasingly unusual herbal element, too. Like all LBD whiskies, it’s been released at natural colour and cask strength, with no chill-filtration. Just 424 bottles will ever be made available.

Nose: Pomegranate, Turkish delight, fennel seed
Palate: Red grapes, Haribo strawberries, spiced oranges.
Finish: Pink grapefruit, stewed rhubarb, white pepper
