A Tasmanian single malt from independent bottler The Remnant. The producer has a storied history, essentially being born from the fall-out from a scam at a Tasmanian distillery. The stocks were bought and are now being released under The Remnant name.
Tasting note from The Remnant:
Aromas of crème caramel, almond biscotti, and Meyer lemon with hints of tropical fruits and Turkish delight. On the palate pistachio nougat and toffee apple lead into a finish of sweet vanilla, gingerbread and raspberries dusted in icing sugar.
