Eine experimentelle Veröffentlichung der Bruichladdich Distillery auf Islay unter der Marke Port Charlotte. Warum experimentell? Es ist das erste Mal, dass Port Charlotte Spirit in Pomerol-Weinfässern gereift ist! Das Holz verleiht dem Whisky eine Fülle komplexer Früchte, wobei der sanfte Rauch noch durchscheint. Ein unverzichtbarer Geschmack, wenn Sie ein Fan von in Weinfässern gereiften Whiskys sind.
Geschmacksnoten:
Nase: Rote Früchte platzen zusammen mit Geranie, Honig, geröstetem Eichenholz, Marzipan und einer sanften Rauchwolke aus dem Glas.
Geschmack: Es herrscht ein wunderbar zähflüssiges Mundgefühl – fast klebrig. Pralle Brombeeren und Erdbeeren heben den dichteren Rauch hervor, und es gibt sogar einen Hauch von Leder.
Abgang: Lang mit anhaltender Zitrusschale und Torfrauch.
