Mars Tsunuki is back with its 2022 single malt edition. Still a young distillery, Mars is making great things. This is bourbon cask-forward, fresh and lively, bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration. We’re excited by what’s to come from this ever-exciting maker.
Tasting note:
Nose: Lots of orchard fruit, backed by fresh vanilla pods, milk chocolate, ice cream wafer and cinnamon.
Palate: A gentle prickle comes though on the mouthfeel, balanced out by creamy icing, more chocolate notes, and a citrus zip for a lift.
Finish: Oaky with a dusting of cinnamon.
