A bold, fruity and deliciously jammy single malt from independent bottler Tri Carragh. Distilled at Loch Lomond back in January 2014, this gloriously vibrant bottling enjoyed a nine-month finish in a second-fill red wine octave. Casks this small impart an astonishing intensity of flavour – and this more than shines through here.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Blackberries, blackcurrants and raspberry coulis lead, followed by lemon zest and candied orange peel. The distinctive fruity character of Inchmurrin brings notes of pear drops and tropical fruit beneath the darker berry influence.

Palate: Rich and mouth-coating with milk chocolate, caramel and forest fruits. Blackberry jam and blackcurrant continue alongside ginger spice, cinnamon and soft oak tannins.

Finish: Warming spice, dark berries and lingering chocolate-covered fruit.
