Ein wunderbar gereifter irischer Single Malt Whisky hier vom Team der Powerscourt Distillery! Für maximale Cremigkeit wurde er vollständig in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern gereift, wobei die Fässer vor der Abfüllung miteinander vermählt wurden. Nach Angaben des Powerscourt-Teams handelt es sich um einen Whisky zum Feiern „ganz besonderer Momente“. Wir sind geneigt, dem zuzustimmen.
Verkostungsnotiz:
Nase: Eine lebendige Nase öffnet sich mit Honig, Vanille, Mandel, Zimt, Pflaumen, Kirschen und geröstetem Eichenholz, dazu Kokosnuss und Karamell.
Geschmack: Wunderbar weich, ein cremiger Whisky mit Vanille, reifen Obstgärten, Karamell, rohem Kakao und komplexen süßen Gewürzen.
Abgang: Mittellang mit einer anhaltenden Muskatwürze.
