Ein selten gealterter Clynelish, destilliert im Jahr 1972, abgefüllt im Jahr 2007
Nase: Zitronen- und Olivenöl, etwas gedämpftes Menthol, reichhaltige mineralische Noten, Äpfel mit einem Hauch von Gewürzen und gesalzenem Karamell-Toffee, Mangoschalen, Trüffel mit geröstetem Eichenholz, leichtem Tabakblatt und flüssigem Honig, ein Hauch Ingwer.
Gaumen: Ein reichhaltiger und elegant ausgewogener Auftakt am Gaumen, Banane, gewachste Fruchtnoten, einige Anklänge von verkohltem Toast, Malzbrot und frischer Bauernbutter, getrocknete Waldfrüchte, etwas Melone und weißer Pfeffer, Honig mit einem reichen, anhaltenden Abgang von weichen, nussigen Aromen, etwas Vanille und leichte Gewürze.
