White Port is unusual territory for Braeval. It’s really rare to find this cask type from the distillery. It’s a mouthwateringly rich whisky. We find it super indulgent and seriously moreish. This is a brilliant example of a more unusual finish getting it absolutely right.

A deliciously bright, bold and complex nose opens with dark chocolate notes with strawberry inclusions. Honeycomb and lily build alongside a dab of perfume, before shoe polish and a warm earthiness builds depth. Big, round and inviting.
The intensity builds from the nose with dates, prunes, tiramisu, cappuccino and liquorice root. With time, a pleasing rubbery bass note comes through. Dandelion and burdock adds to the depth, along with raisins, prunes and aromatic woods.
Incredibly long, with more of that sweetly spiced tiramisu.
