The West Highland distillery is known for its oily texture and rich mouthfeel which is apparent here, alongside vibrant tropical fruits and traditional boiled sweets. It’s a delight to explore.
Tasting note:
Nose: Fresh, zesty and crisp, rhubarb and custard sweets, fresh pineapple and sherbet lemons leap from the glass.
Palate: Cut grass, gorse flower, coconut and vanilla cream arrive, followed by crème brûlée, cinnamon, and a gentle dusting of ginger.
Finish: Medium length with those lingering sweet spices.
