Balmenach releases aren’t spotted very often, so it’s exciting to see this release from celebrated indie bottlers Thompson Bros. It was matured in a sherry hogshead for six years before being transferred to an Oloroso octave for another two years. Finally it was moved to a sherry butt for another two years. Three lots of sherry, maximum flavour!
