Nose: Dried fruits, hints of apricots with a sweet damson jam note, some hints of polished leather and dates, with a hint of chocolate and raisin, this dram is superbly balanced on the nose.
Palate: A smooth and creamy chocolate, sweet baking spices and runny honey, rolling tobacco leaf and toasted almonds, adding a nice little twist to the opening of the palate, with dark forest fruits, hints of strawberry cheesecake and crisp brandy snaps.
