A fantastic blended malt from Irish maker The Whistler. This release brings together single malts initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a 10-month finishing period in 125-litre quarter casks that previously held peated whiskey. It’s wonderfully smoky, with an array of toffee, apple, fresh cereals and pastry notes, too.
