An astoundingly fruity, magnificently complex rum here from Trinidad Distillers Limited (TDL), chosen and released by independent bottler The Whisky Jury. Part of the iconic ‘Many Faces of Rum’ collection, it was distilled back in 2000 and aged for over a quarter of a century in a refill barrel. It’s been bottled at cask strength and natural colour without chill-filtration. A real treat, and a showcase of the elegant tropical fruit, nutty and almost vegetal intricacies of long-aged rums.
