The Nailed Puppet 11 Years Old 52.6%
A really fun expression here, bottled by Brave New Spirits under its Whisky of Voodoo brand. Aged in second-fill bourbon barrels, it offers an array of tropical fruit and creamy honey notes, along with a subtly sweet smoke. It's incredibly easy-sipping, and a pleasingly relaxed expression for summer evenings.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Spiced pineapple and ripe banana with what seems like a subtle sweet smoke, a definite sweetness flows in to the nose with a sweet peach and gala melon, creamy notes that are really nice to discover. Almost the nose of an expression that is much older!.
Palate: If I could say simply delicious I would, however its my job to dig in deeper….. Sweet and uplifting on the front and mid palate, creamy yet tangy at the same time, some citrus and dry spice, soft fruits like peach and apricots with honey, some sweet popcorn and cinnamon buns, warming and a rather long finish you can still taste a few minutes after finishing.
