Islay Single Malt 17 Year Old Duncan Taylor Octave 53.4% 70cl
A somewhat mysterious single malt from independent bottler Duncan Taylor here, in that it was distilled at an unnamed Islay distillery back in 2007. Part of the brand’s Octave series, it spent the last few months of its 17-year maturation in a tiny ex-Amontillado sherry cask. It’s smaller size means amped-up flavour extraction, so expect a bold, rich, juicy fruit-forward single malt here. Just 89 bottles will ever be released.
