Hibiki Japanese Harmony 43% 70cl
Hibiki whisky from the Suntory family of quality craftsmanship in everything they produce from the whiskies to the iconic bottle design. First launched as a blend in 1989 with numerous age statements now highly prized by collectors of all things Japanese. Harmony is a great introduction to the delights of Japanese whiskies.
Nose: Floral with hints of pine and spices, some fruits come into play as does a sandalwood and delicate honey notes.
Palate: As expected a balance across the whole palate comes into play with soft candies and caramel coated almonds with soft chocolate fudge and strawberry ice- cream.
Finish: A very enjoyable finish comes with a classic hint of delicate Mizunara oak, fresh baked shortbread and a soft creamy honey note.
