Green Spot 40% ABV

Green Spot is a beloved Single Pot Still whiskey from Ireland's largest distillery, Midleton. This famous whiskey has its roots in the 1800s, when original owners Mitchell & Son matured their casks under Dublin's cobbled streets.

They would mark the cask ends with spots of paint to categorise them - and the 'Spot' concept was born.

A non age statement Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey comprising of pot still whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years. The whiskey has matured in a combination of new bourbon and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks.

Nose: With a rich nose of fresh aromatic oils and spices, Apples, Pears and sweet oak aromas, more orchard fruits, with a rich toasted barley.

Taste: The front of the palate has a full spicy body starts with a tangy hit of cloves, fruity sweetness of green apples, some toasted oak in the finish a rich smooth taste of spices and barley.
