Esta nueva versión ha tenido un tratamiento de la vieja escuela con el proceso de envejecimiento, 
Madurado en barrica Olorosos Sherry Quarter de primer llenado durante 6 meses, la barrica pequeña brinda una interacción mucho más rica en el paladar y la nariz que solo se encuentra en whiskies más añejos. 
Nariz: El aroma del jerez es lo primero, seguido de frutas frescas y flores con una riqueza que es difícil de encontrar en algunas maltas añejas similares. 
Paladar: Primero viene el sabor a jerez, junto con las pasas. Luego vienen las hierbas, el mazapán y el chocolate amargo. Regusto medio a hierbas, con chocolate amargo y jerez. Junto con una sensación en boca ligeramente cremosa.
