Celebrated indie bottler Woodrow’s of Edinburgh returns with a real treat – a 17-year-old Dailuaine bottling with a fascinating maturation history. It was distilled on 26 March 2008 and initially aged in a refill hogshead. It was then transferred into an ex-Mortlach oloroso sherry cask for a finishing period that imparted an array of rich, robust and deliciously savoury notes. As always, Woodrow’s bottlings are released without chill-filtration or added colouring, and at natural cask strength.
