This edition of Whisky Sponge is a 2nd fill barrel of Auchentoshan 1991, bottled at 31 years of age. Full of bright fruits and wild flowers, this is an unusual and bright expression from the distillery. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.6% ABV.
Nose: Ripe banana, apple and mango.
Palate: A beautifully bright fruit salad with hints of watermelon and pear. Soft waxy notes follow.
Finish: Floral and elegant. A real fruity number.
