Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated 100th Anniversary Edition
A wonderful, distinctly peated Hakushu single malt bottled to mark Suntory’s Japanese whisky-making centenary. This release is crafted from whiskies aged for at least 18 years in an array of different cask types. While the peat is absolutely present here, it’s more subtle and elegant than some of its Scotch counterparts. A delicious way to mark 100 years of Japanese whisky.

Nose: Vibrant with top notes of sage, ripe green apple and hints of ripe pineapple
Palate: Complex smoke revealing layers of herbal, grapefruit and acacia honey notes
Finish: Clean smoke that lingers with undernotes of fresh green citrus
