Our latest in the series of late 1990s Ben Nevis. This particular cask had an unusually small outturn. Ben Nevis 1996 is a staff favourite, its unbelievable fruitiness coupled with traditional 'funky' notes found in the distillery is moreish to say the least. Very few of these available in the UK.
Nose: Roasted pineapple, papaya, kombucha, Madagascan vanilla
Palate: Peach, apricot, hops and gooseberry
Finish: Bold and waxy with fresh orchard fruits intermingling with robust stone and tropical fruits
