The Stiùbhart Single Cask Selection (the Gaelic spelling of Stewart - pronounced roughly the same way) is a hand-selected range of single malt Scotch. They're all drawn from single casks and bottle at cask strength without colouring or chill-filtration.
This peated Bunnahabhain (bottled under the name Staoisha) was matured in a first-fill bourbon cask.
Nose: Sweet wood smoke with hints of marshmallow.
Palate: Poached pears and candied almonds.
Finish: Classic Islay peat with hints of iodine.
