En vidunderlig blendet whisky lavet af Thompson Bros i Dornoch.
Opskriften her startede med tre fade af en sherried blended whisky, hvortil de tilsatte et par tønder 11 år gammel Speyside single malt og noget langtidslagret, veludviklet grain whisky, som tegner sig for omkring 21% af den samlede volumen, gør dette til en malt-tung blanding.
Producentens smagsnotat:
Næse: Pæredråber. pastis, hvide druer, humle, galia melon, toffeepopcorn, frisk persille, høballer, laurbærblad, honeycomb (skørt), klumper, hvid misopasta og natskygge (tomatplante)
Smag: toffee skør, karamelliseret malt, mandelnougat, jordbær, vilde urter, appelsinmarmelade, citronhostebolcher, egetræskrydderi, nelliker, forkullede ferskner.
Afslutning: appelsinbitter, nellikeolie, ingefærrødder og blid saltholdighed.
