Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 13 57.9% 70cl

Kilkerran’s Glengyle distillery typically produces light- to medium-peated spirit. This bottling is the exception to the rule. Batch 13 of the highly in-demand Heavily Peated release is remarkable. Made just twice a year, each batch is usually aged predominantly in ex-bourbon casks. A creamy, butterscotch-led nose gives way to an expressive palate with honeydew and ham notes. The whole lot is wrapped up in a dense, aromatic, maritime peat smoke. Lovely stuff.
