Clynelish 24 Year Old 2001 Milroy's Vintage Reserve 51.8% 70cl

An extraordinarily well-aged, great value Clynelish here – released as part of our Vintage Reserve collection specially for Black Friday 2025. Fully matured in a traditional hogshead, this Brora-conceived distillate is a tremendous example of the complexity offered by coastal Highland malts. It’s awash with elegant stone fruit and leafy herbal notes, all set within an irresistibly waxy texture. A special single Clynelish single malt indeed, with just 164 bottles ever to be released.

Tasting notes:

Nose: An intricate, aromatic nose opens subtle florals including magnolia, orange blossom, herbal leafy notes, and the oak furniture polish, old library book elements that show long age. There’s a suggestion of pine needles, as well as poached pears, dried apricot and a just-lit candle.

Palate: Gloriously waxy, the fascinating palate offers a rush of rich pepper notes, along with salted caramel, rhubarb and custard boiled sweets, and grapefruit peels. Floral honey and assam tea add detail, alongside cola cube sweets, cinnamon buns, and rosemary.

Finish: Long with lingering pepper notes and furniture polish
