Islay distillery Bruichladdich is celebrated for its attention to detail and commitment to terroir. This is especially apparent in its Micro Provenance single cask series, which heroes bold distinctiveness. This expression was drawn from cask 2113, a first-fill Monbazillac cask that was filled back in June 2012. Just 282 bottles were released once it was disgorged in April 2024. The result is a vibrantly fruity single malt with jammy berries and stewed orchard fruits prominent – but that key cereal character still shines through.
