Bomberger’s Declaration 2025 Release 54% 70cl

A delight of a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon, released every year from the team behind Michter’s. Bottled at 108 proof, it’s been aged in air-dried and specifically seasoned Chinquapin oak barrels, that were then exactingly toasted and charred. The results are deliciously vibrant. There’s salted caramel and a rich nuttiness on the nose, ahead of a densely caramelised palate with jammy berry and milk chocolate notes. The finish lingers on with decadent sweet spices and a drying oakiness. Remarkable.
