A strikingly soft, inviting Speyside single malt from Altmore here, released by independent bottler Whisky Craft. Fully matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, this round, characterful 13-year-old whisky offers all manner of mouth-watering orchard fruit and warming cereal notes. A gorgeous expression.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Sweet and layered, led by glacé cherry and maraschino notes, followed by toasted almonds, apple tart, bubblegum, and maple syrup.

Palate: Structured and characterful, with smoky oak, brown sugar, sharp orange zest, ground white pepper, and toasted wood.

Finish: Medium to long, with warming pepper and lingering oak spice.
